Coronavirus: US records 3,770,138 cases, 142,065 deaths

The United States has reported 142,065 deaths, 3,770,138 cases and 1,741,398 recoveries from coronavirus at 14:15 pm till Saturday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 1,886,675 are active cases, the source said.

Among the active cases, the number of critical patients are 16,660, worldometer reported.

With the fresh tally in the 24-hour, 74,836 coronavirus infected people have been registered while 947people died of COVID-19, and 61,649 patients have been considered recovered in the country.

In US, New York is the hardest-hit city with 32,463 deaths and 71,970 recoveries, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU). In the 24 hours, the city has reported 17 new deaths.

Among other coronavirus affected city in US, New Jersey has reported 15,684 deaths, followed by Massachussetts with 8,402, California 7,603, Florida 4,805, Texas 3,820, Georgia 3,132, Arizona 2,583and Washington DC 1,434 respectively till date, JHU reported.
